Wow! It has been a long time since I have updated this blog. Lots of news. Terry and I are moving back to Texas and Jean Sheffield has agreed to take over our Linus Chapter. Two weeks ago all of the supplies were moved to her home. Diana Wolf, Lynda Henry and Barb Braun have all agreed to help with quilt/blanket distribution. Jean is still looking for a place to store the finished blankets until they are needed and a spot for the display pieces that are used for the raffle during Shop Hop and for the quilt show. The work days are still being held in Morton on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at the Lutheran church. The ladies are brown bagging it for now and have a great deal of the supplies they need. Lea has met Jean and they can share resources as needed. The Chehalis work day will be May 20th (third Wednesday) and will be held at the Napavine Assembly of God Church. An email has already been sent out to the ladies that usually attend the workday. This may be my last update as Jean and her team may choose someone to update the blog. As this blog is not supported by google and is tenuous at best to access, I hope they select their own blog site and get it up and running. For many of you that I haven't spoken to - I hope you will support Jean and help keep this chapter going. There is so much need. I have enjoyed working with all of you but am looking forward to reconnecting with my family in Texas and Lousisiana. I will miss the Northwest and all of you.
